Omaha's unique self-defense program for women!
Created by a woman for women, these self-defense classes are designed to instruct practical self-defense to women of all ages and skill level. We will dispel common self-defense myths as well as teach basic tips and techniques on how to avoid becoming a victim.
Rather than teaching a person to thwart an attack by punching and kicking, we demonstrate small joint manipulations and how to pinch sensitive parts of the body for a quick release and escape.
These self-defense classes are a practical and easy approach to safety and empowerment. Rooted in Aikido philosophy and principles, all techniques are simple, sound, easily remembered and very effective. Instruction caters to all ages, sizes and abilities.
Instruction will include but not limited to Escapes from Grabs (Front, Behind & Hair) Choke Holds, and Sexual Assault / Rape Escape Techniques.

My daughters and I attended a self-defense over the weekend. Our class was primarily a group of mothers and daughters. All of the instructors provided an excellent class full of proven self-defense techniques. All 14 of us had the opportunity to practice these easy-to-remember and straightforward techniques 1:1 multiple times. The techniques we learned were not focused on overpowering our attacker; they were practical moves for women to get out of a situation quickly and effectively. I pray none of us will ever experience these situations. However, I'm thankful for this experience to better prepare for an unfortunate situation.
